Lasse Andersson is thriving with the Foxes

After the fantastic victory (31:26) in the blast against Champions League winners Magdeburg, there is great relief in the Füchse management team.

Although there is still a second player with world-class caliber missing in the left backfield, the team has proven that it is competitive even against top opponents.

Especially the heavily stressed Lasse Andersson (29), who is almost on his own due to the Drux injury, is currently on a roll. Against Leipzig 9 goals, against Stuttgart 4 goals, against Magdeburg 6 goals – plus 53 minutes on the plate.

Since Andersson knows that Füchse sports director Stefan Kretzschmar (50) won’t get another player before the winter break, the Dane is turning up the heat and playing much more efficiently than before.

Andersson after the duel: “I’m happy with how things are going at the moment. I give everything on the plate, but the whole team does that. We all have a good flow in the game, so it’s a lot of fun to play right now.”

Kretzschmar at Dyn: “At the moment the status quo is that this team is going through the first half of the season. Just the way she is. Of course we hope that nothing happens to anyone. But she is competitive and capable of winning Bundesliga games.”

And he adds to Andersson: “For him, genius and madness are still damn close together. I would like 2-3 fewer mistakes even better.”
