In his own words, the acting star Lars Eidinger has sworn off social media.
“First of all, I deleted Instagram because it’s not good for me. I contend that it is a toxic medium; one gradually poisons oneself. In the long term it makes you sick,” said the 46-year-old of the “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung”.
He has also received many offers to do advertising. But he rejects that too. “I didn’t do any of that,” Lars Eidinger told NOZ. For him, an artist’s greatest trump card is credibility. “And I see them threatened in advertising.”
