Lars Bryggman, Peter Andersson and Saku Salminen to Pelicans

Lahti Pelicans have signed three new player contracts. Company announced that he acquired from Tappara Saku Salminen and from Sweden by Peter Andersson and by Lars Bryggman.

Defender Salminen’s contract is a 1+1 model. He scored 0+3 in 42 games in Tappara.

Andersson arrives in Lahti on a one-year contract. The 193-centimeter and 92-kilogram defender played last season for the Växjö Lakers. Andersson, who celebrated the Swedish championship twice, scored 2+3 in 36 matches last season. He also has experience in the AHL with 151 matches.

Bryggman played 41 games in Malmö last season with 7+3 power points. He is the same size class as Andersson. The head coach Tommi Niemelä describes him in the press release as a competitive player.

– As a type of player, he has a lot in common with the player who played for us in Jiří Smejkal. Bryggman has shown in the SHL that he can do things. The goal is that he would be able to be a result maker for us, says Niemelä.
