Handball player Larissa Nusser has been out for months due to a serious knee injury. She will most likely miss the European Championship.

The Odense HC build-up player from Born injured her knee during the duel with Herning-Ikast Håndbold.

Research in the hospital has shown that the cruciate ligament has torn. Nusser will soon have surgery on her knee. It takes nine to twelve months to recover from such a cruciate ligament injury.

No European Championship
Due to this injury, the 22-year-old handball player will probably not be able to play with the Dutch team at the European Handball Championship. The European title race will be held from November 4, 2022 to November 20, 2022 in North Macedonia, Slovenia and Montenegro.
