A large-scale survey of just under 23,000 Poles shows that the country’s growing acceptance and improved situation of LGBTQ+ individuals has plummeted. The organizations Campaign Against Homophobia and Lambda Warszawa Association — which commissioned the study from the University of Warsaw — point to, among other things, the “widespread, aggressive trans- and homophobic propaganda” of recent years as the cause.
