Police in Spain and Portugal have rounded up an international drug ring that has been smuggling cocaine from South America to several European countries. A total of 24 people were arrested in the operation in both Southern European countries and Brazil, according to the Spanish police unit Guardia Civil. More than 800 kilograms of cocaine was also seized. This was done in collaboration with Europol and the authorities in Brazil.
