At raids in four different places in the municipalities of Moerdijk and Rucphen, the police have found dozens of kilos of narcotic drugs and medicines. Three men were arrested.
It concerns two men aged 33 and 39 from the municipality of Moerdijk and one man aged 46 from the municipality of Rucphen. They are suspected of illegal action of medicines and narcotic resources, whereby the goods are sent abroad from the Netherlands.
In the searches of the various buildings, including houses, MDMA, LSD and Amfetamine were found by the police, among others. Boxes with medicines and heavy fireworks, such as Cobras, were also seized. There were also packaging materials in the buildings to pack the resources.
The national investigation and interventions unit started under the leadership of the National Public Prosecution Service of the Public Prosecution Service after a number of packages with medicines and narcotic drugs were intercepted in Belgium. A few weeks ago, the police also intercepted a shipment with forty kilos of MDMA pills in the Netherlands.
The suspects are detained for interrogation and are brought before the examining magistrate before hearing.
