The municipality must take a new decision on noise pollution that cause activities on the Zandvoort circuit. The judgment has no consequences for the Formula 1 weekend in Zandvoort this weekend, the ANP reports.
The Rust at the Coast Foundation wanted a few years that the municipality would act against noise from the circuit, but the municipality rejected that request. A judge agreed with the foundation, but did not impose measures on the municipality.
The foundation did not agree with this. In the case at the Council of State pointed to the coast, among other things, to a new report on the sound that was drawn up on behalf of the municipality. The Council of State believes that the Commission should include the results of this report in the new decision.
