Lanvin Group accelerates digital strategy in North America

The Lanvin Group will grow its digital business in North America with the support of Shopify, a service provider for e-commerce solutions.

Lanvin and Sergio Rossi are the first two Lanvin Group brands to enter the North American market with a digital platform in fall 2022, the company announced at the end of April.

By working with Shopify, the luxury fashion group wants to focus on “the essentials”: the products and the customers are in the foreground, user-friendly solutions are intended to improve the digital shopping experience.

“Shopify is at the forefront of innovation, partnering with some of the most successful companies to transform e-commerce for merchants and consumers worldwide,” said Joann Cheng, CEO of Lavin Group. With Shopify’s commerce capabilities, the Lanvin Group is now even better positioned to capitalize on the significant growth opportunities we have identified in North America, the world’s largest luxury market.”

The Lanvin Group also sees great potential in the project for the other brands that belong to the company and hopes to be able to combine its “e-commerce functions on a common platform” “to create synergies across the entire portfolio”. Entering the digital market in North America is part of expansion plans that also include expanding retail presence and product categories.
