Drenthe has a total of twenty Jewish cemeteries and there is at least one in every municipality. They often have a specific layout and orientation, but little is known about the development and origin of these cemeteries. Nearly thirty volunteers will soon start a course from Landscape Management Drenthe, so that they can do further research.
