Lana Del Rey donates her tour earnings to performance cities

Lana Del Rey explains: “I don’t need the money. I just love performing.”

Lana Del Rey announced during the final performance of her “2023” tour that she donated all personal proceeds from ticket sales from her current tour to the respective cities in which she performed.

On October 5th, during her final tour stop in West Virginia, USA, she said that she didn’t need the money for herself and that she just enjoyed performing. It is unclear what amount the donations will be and to whom exactly the money will be given.

“I just wanted to thank you and every city I’ve been to so far. And I also want to let you know that every ticket, every dollar, goes directly back into the city. Because for me it’s not about that. And I know that sounds cheesy, but I do it because I love it. I don’t need the money. I just love performing. It’s us [bei den Spenden] about the places we have been. So I just wanted to say hello and goodbye. I hope it’s not the last time we see you.”
