She is the third of ten artists to contribute a cover to the series. Listen to her song here.

Jack Antonoff announced at the end of January that he would provide the soundtrack for the new Apple TV+ series, “The New Look,” and had collaborated with numerous renowned artists. After Florence And The Machine and The 1975, Lana Del Rey is now the third musician to release her contribution – a cover of Irving Berlin’s “Blue Skies”.

The piece that the singer chose for her soundtrack contribution is almost a century old. Now she’s breathing new life into the classic and interpreting it in her own, modern way.

For the artist, it is the first record that he releases under his own label “Shadow of the City”, a sub-label of “Dirty Hit”. His work accompanies the story of the fashion designer Christian Dior with new musical interpretations. All songs come from the early and middle 20th century and were particularly influenced by the war.
