LaMunt, the mountain sports brand for women launched by the South Tyrolean Oberalp Group a good year ago, is now also available in stationary stores. The brand has been showing a first selection of the 2022 spring/summer collection online since November 15, 2021; now it is also available in selected shops.
The alpine aspect was taken into account for the distribution strategy and the choice of locations. In addition to large shopping cities such as Munich, Zurich and Vienna, LaMunt is therefore also represented in well-known mountain towns such as Cortina, Sestrière, Garmisch, Kaprun, Corvara and others. Likewise, of course, in Bolzano, the headquarters of the Oberalp Group. The retailers include the Stuttgart fashion retailer Breuninger, the Zurich department store Jelmoli and the Austrian sports retailer Bründl Sports.
Well-known mountain towns now carry LaMunt

The Spring/Summer 2022 collection is the brand’s first-ever collection and includes 32 pieces including waterproof jackets, insulated jackets, trousers, hoodies, culottes, leggings, shorts, a cape and accessories such as socks, headbands and a waistbag. The color palette consists of warm earth tones, cool blue tones and a strong yellow. as well as ‘Foggy White’ and ‘Rocky Black’. Prices range from 25 euros for accessories to 350 euros for jackets.
With its focus on women, LaMunt fills a gap, because this focus is rare in mountain sports. The brand combines performance with finesse, sustainability, well thought-out details and innovations and thus serves the ever-growing number of mountain lovers. “LaMunt is a reinterpretation of the mountain code for women and specifically addresses the demands of women in alpine sports,” says LaMunt.
