The Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth has participated in a meeting in which several technological projects have been shared within the innovation process that LaLiga has been carrying out for several seasons together with professional football clubs.
Ambitious projects inside and outside the stadiums to grow the local and global community of fans, improve your experience, the creation of new technological infrastructures, or improve sports performance thanks to technology and data analysisare some of the advances that are being carried out in the clubs of LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank.
Maria GabrielEuropean Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth has recognized the clubs that “For Europe’s political action, making the most of innovation in and through sport is a top priority. La Liga and Spanish soccer teams have been the first to adopt innovations based on high technology. I am convinced that they will determine indirect and transformative effects. It is something that is absolutely in line with our vision and the efforts undertaken in the New European Innovation Agenda.”
