is being a catastrophic season for the Los Angeles Lakers. With a losing record of 27-33, a lousy game and a locker room full of veterans who don’t exercise as such, it seems that this team is going down every day and, what’s worse, it hasn’t hit rock bottom yet. Yesterday the Los Angeles franchise lost overwhelmingly to the New Orleans Pelicans (95-123). A night to forget that ended with the fans beating their own players.
The Lakers are currently ninth but with real possibilities, now yes, of being left without the play in. The bad game, the little continuity of players like Anthony Davis due to injury or the little chemistry between the players are several of the reasons for the team’s bad season.
It’s ironic that with all the hardships the Lakers are going through, booing is directed at the only player who is performing at a good level. ‘El Rey’ was once again one of the stars of the night, but this time for nothing to do with sports performance. The forward, in a bad pass made in the third period, was booed by the Lakers fans. Despite this, LeBron finished the game with 33 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.
westbrook, another of those pointed out by the fans, played his usual game (16 points and 6 rebounds with 5 of 15 shooting, 1 assists and 7 turnovers)
It is clear that we are facing a team that is drifting, and the fans are beginning to tire of the poor results.
