The French clothing retailer Lacoste opened its largest flagship store to date in the heart of Paris last Friday. The choice of location underscores the great importance that the traditional label attaches to its new flagship: the “Lacoste Arena” is located at 50 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the most famous boulevard in the metropolis.
There, Lacoste now offers its entire product range on an area of 1,600 square meters: According to the company, the range includes 9,500 items. The new store is “the first next-generation Lacoste flagship” and aims to “bring together all fans of the brand – fashion lovers, athletes as well as responsible and creative customers,” explained the clothing retailer.
CEO Thierry Guibert underlined the store’s special status: “We are proud to open our new flagship store in the heart of the Champs-Élysées. More than a store, it will be the heart of the brand and aims to completely renew the Lacoste customer experience thanks to numerous technological innovations that combine interactive and immersive experiences,” he explained in a statement. The opening is “a strong signal of the influence of the crocodile in France and around the world, since the flagship will be a meeting place at the crossroads of cultures, generations and styles,” said Guibert.
