The Traviata Of Franco Zeffirelli was created by the Arena di Verona in 2019 after the death of the director, who had staged the opera, his favorite, about ten times: from the first version in 1958, with Maria Callasto the one for cinema in 1983 which obtained two Oscar nominations.

The Traviata: the plot
