The Second Division also has a new name: LaLiga Hypermotion
The deal is for the next five seasons.
The First Division League is renamed LaLiga EA Sports and the Second Division, LaLiga Hypermotion, by virtue of the agreement reached by LaLiga with Electric Arts Inc., one of the strategic partners with which it has been collaborating for a decade. The agreement seeks a transformation that Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, has presented this Monday at the LaLiga gala under the motto ‘The Strength of our football’ and that will be reflected in the audiovisual broadcast and the digital ecosystem of LaLiga.
Thus, the official LaLiga APP will offer a much more personalized experience to the user according to their tastes and with relevant information according to their preferred club. It will also incorporate a new Near Live-focused social video experience that can be shared much more easily on social networks. In addition, LaLiga Fantasy will implement modifications that will be announced as of July 12 and that will help improve the user experience.
As of August 11, the graphic package in the broadcast of the matches will be modified, affecting, among others, the visualization on air, the lower and the scoreboard, with some new graphics that will make them much more dynamic and alive. The use that will be made of coffee one of the cameras also changes, looking for new shots that bring the fan even closer to EA Sports.
Thebes celebrated the new agreement: “We are beginning a new era that will mean a Revolutionary change for both Spanish football and the industry. And we do it surrounded by clubs and strategic partners like EA Sports, without whom none of this would have been possible. Together we want to offer a better football for society and a better society for our football.”
For his part, David Jackson, Vice President of EA Sports, added: “LaLiga uniquely shares our vision of a fan-centric future of football and this partnership gives us the opportunity to rethink the way fans engage with the game. Combining our experience in building globally diverse audiences with the innovative spirit of LaLiga we will continually challenge, learn and grow together as partners. As we enter a new era with Ea Sports, we are excited to see our partnership with La Liga come to life in a variety of ways from audiovisual technology to entertainment innovation from grassroots initiatives to digital communities, all with the intention of bringing soccer fans.”
In addition to AE Sports, LaLiga has other global partners such as Microsoft, Puma, Mahou, San Miguel or BKT, without forgetting the regional partners, which in Spain are El Corte Inglés, Allianz, Nissan, Solán de Cabras, Burger King and Vivo. .
