Real Madrid scored a hard-earned 3-1 win at UD Almeria on Saturday night (08/19/2023) on the second matchday in La Liga. Jude Bellingham, 100 million signing from Borussia Dortmund, scored his first brace for Real.
Madrid surprisingly fell behind in Almeria, Real’s home-grown Sergio Arribas scored against his training club in the third minute. But then Bellingham turned the game around with two goals (19th/60th). England’s international had already scored in the opening win against Bilbao.
Kroos as a preparer for Bellingham
Unlike the previous week, Toni Kroos was also allowed to help this time. Kroos was in the starting XI on Saturday and started the 2-1 lead with a cross to Bellingham. After Vinicius Junior’s goal (73rd), the game was decided.
