La Liga: Barcelona stay close to Real Madrid

FC Barcelona have kept pace and stay close to Real Madrid with a win at Sevilla FC.

Robert Lewandowski prepared the 1-0 win at FC Sevilla on Saturday (September 3rd, 2022) through Brazilian international Raphinha (21st), and the Pole then made it 2-0 himself before the break (36th). Eric Garcia made it 3-0 shortly after the restart (50′).

In the 62nd minute, Lewandowski missed the great chance to make it 4-0 in a promising position before he was replaced a short time later by Ansu Fati (74th). Barcelona remain unbeaten with ten points from four games.

Madrid win top game against Betis

Real Madrid alone has a better record with four wins from four games, the club remains comfortably at the top of the table. Madrid won 2-1 (1-1) against Betis Sevilla at their home Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. With nine points, Betis is now third.
