La Boucle was founded in 2018 by the young Belgian entrepreneurs Arnaud & Frederik, who have specialized exclusively in belts with their label. Following their motto “buy less, but better”, the two have designed stretchy, durable belts that are suitable for all types of activities. Designed in Brussels, the sleek belts are available in many colors and color combinations.

Arnaud and Frederik founded La Boucle in Brussels in 2018 after visiting Giuseppe Volpi, a local leather tannery in Tuscany. Her friend Giuseppe processes leather there according to a three-generation family tradition. Inspired by the craftsmanship and the quality of the materials used, the entrepreneurs developed high-quality belts that are manufactured in collaboration with Giuseppe’s leather manufactory.

Thanks to their one-size-fits-all technology, La Boucle belts are suitable for all sizes. Research and development tests were carried out by the Center for Textile Science and Engineering at Ghent University, Belgium. La Boucle Originale stretches up to 150 cm in length and can support a weight of up to 400 kg.
In order to promote “real” sustainability and increase the longevity of their products in the long term, the brand never has a sale or Black Friday. Also, as part of their partnership with NGO WeForest & NGO TREES FOR THE FUTURE, La Boucle plants a tree for every belt sold.

La Boucle is sold in over 30 countries in select stores and on the brand’s website. The sustainable label made a conscious decision not to advertise. “From the beginning, we used our financial resources to make a better product every day and not advertising.” The high quality is the best marketing, according to the brand’s website.
