Water board and LLTB against drought approach province
The battle for water in the De Peel nature reserve is far from over. On Wednesday it was announced that irrigating crops around De Peel will be severely limited in the future. The provinces of Noord-Brabant and Limburg thus place nature above agriculture. The Limburg Water Board, responsible for water management in the province, disapproves of the approach. Major exercise in A2 tunnel in Maastricht
A major disaster exercise took place in the Willem-Alexandertunnel in Maastricht on Wednesday evening. Such a tunnel exercise is required by law and should actually take place once every four years. But for the past two years, the exercise has been canceled due to the corona pandemic. The tunnel was closed on Wednesday evening for maintenance and the exercise could still take place.

New event at Vrijthof: Camping Kosmos
