On his last day of vacation in Wales, a month ago, John Peeters from Beesel was seriously injured by a fall from a mountain in Wales. His pelvis was shattered and he broke five ribs. His left knee, fifth lumbar vertebra, kidney and ureter were also damaged in the fall. He has been in hospital in Maastricht since last week.
