Shortage in the labor market
The shortage on the labor market is becoming more acute. There are 133 vacancies for every 100 unemployed. And so the workload on the working part of the population is increasing. According to Professor Zijlstra of Maastricht University, it is mainly a geographical problem.
Exercise National Reserve Corps
The soldiers of the National Reserve Corps walked through Heel and Panheel armed and with helmets on Friday and Saturday. It was an exercise that consisted of guarding and securing the lock complexes of both Maasdorpen and the surrounding area.
X-triathlon Venray
For the third time, the X-triathlon for people with disabilities took place in Venray on Sunday. Just like a regular triathlon, it consists of swimming, cycling and running. More than 50 athletes took up the challenge.
