Area bans, fines, community service orders. The police in Heerlen and Brunssum are trying in all kinds of ways to reduce the nuisance caused by young people, which has been there for years. But does that approach work? In the third episode of the series ‘Over the burden of young people’ we take to the streets and we see that the gap between young people and the police seems to be growing. It is up to the local police officer, the youth worker and the street coach to close that gap.
