Deportation commemorated of hundreds of Jews exactly 80 years ago
Exactly 80 years ago, the first major deportation of Jews from Limburg to German concentration camps took place. They had to report to a school in Maastricht from all over the province. Only a handful returned alive.

The Preuvenemint started again today in Maastricht. It has been canceled for the past 2 years because of corona. Thursday afternoon at three o’clock the gates of the event on the Vrijthof opened for a networking drink.
