A drama in Horst, a 21-year-old resident was killed in a stabbing in the center on Monday evening. Not much is known about the reason for the stabbing. A 19-year-old Horstenaar has since been arrested. All carnival festivities have been stopped immediately.

Who leaves the ‘Geet mit ee gesjtrikt udder’ in Schinveld?
Vastelaovend is full of traditions, the Schinveld Hoej-Hoej Committee lets a goat go up into the air every year, the ‘Geet mit ee gesjtrikt udder’. Last year it ended up in Poland, unfortunately the finder could not be present in Schinveld to traditionally release the next goat into the air. So we had to wait and see who would receive that honor this year.
