High water channel Ooijen-Wanssum successful
The high water channel in Ooijen-Wanssum worked well last summer when the water level in the Meuse reached a record high. An animation shows what happens when the water of the Meuse rises. An old Maasarm then floods, turning Blitterswijck and Ooijen into islands in the water.
