KymiRing Oy, the parent company of the motor racing track Kymiring, has filed for bankruptcy in the Päijät-Häme district court. The matter was confirmed to Iltalehte on Saturday by the CEO of KymiRing Oy Riku Rönnholm.
– The next step is that the district court makes a bankruptcy decision and then the administrator starts managing the estate, Rönnholm says.
Although KymiRing’s background company ceases to exist, the track is not intended to be potholed.
– Can’t the administrator find a buyer for it who will continue the operation and develop it further, Rönnholm says.
