Star quarterback Kyler Murray has signed a new mega contract with the Arizona Cardinals and has become the second highest-paid playmaker in the National Football League (NFL).
The Glendale franchise announced on Thursday that the 24-year-old has signed a five-year deal worth around $230 million, of which $160 million is guaranteed.
Murray’s working paper would have expired in 2023, the new contract now runs until 2028. Only superstar Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers earns more than Murray, who is in his fourth year as an NFL quarterback and so far, with an annual salary of around $ 50 million was voted to the Pro Bowl twice.
