KV Kortrijk offers Kristiyan Malinov shelter until 2025
The 29-year-old Malinov made the switch from CSKA Sofia in his home country in the middle of 2020 and spent three seasons at Den Dreef. He made a total of 70 appearances for OHL and managed two hits. In 2023 he lost his starting place in Marc Brys’ team. His last playing minutes date from March 10 against Charleroi, when he was allowed to come on in the final phase.
Malinov is already the eighth incoming transfer for KVK this summer mercato. Previously, Abdoulaye Sissako and Thierry Ambrose were already picked up at relegants Zulte Waregem and KV Oostende, Isaak Davies and Sheyi Ojo (both Cardiff), Martin Wasinski (Sporting Charleroi) and Lynnt Audoor (Club Brugge) were hired and Raul Oprut was taken away from Romania.
The guys camp with two goals scored and ten goals conceded after three rounds of play pointless in last place in the standings of the Jupiler Pro League.
