Kutschke returns to Dynamo Dresden: comes from FC Ingolstadt

After the end of the contract in Ingolstadt

After relegation with FC Ingolstadt 04, Stefan Kutschke will also play in the 3rd division next season – not with the “Schanzers”, who recently said goodbye to him, but for Dynamo Dresden. The Saxons officially confirmed the commitment of the 33-year-old striker, whose contract with the FCI expires, on Friday. Kutschke, who is therefore free of charge, has signed in Dresden until 2024.

For the top scorer it is a return to his hometown and already the third move to Dynamo: in 2007 he went there for half a year in the U19s, from January 2016 to summer 2017 he was loaned there from 1. FC Nürnberg and scored 21 goals in 50 games. “With his experience, his mentality, his goal instinct and as a native of Dresden who has already played here, Stefan Kutschke has the best qualifications to strengthen our young team in the 3rd division in the coming season,” said SGD sports director Ralf Becker.

Kutschke himself hopes to be able to help with the direct return to the 2nd Bundesliga: “I know what it means to be allowed to play for Dynamo. I want to show everyone that I still have what it takes to do my part to ensure that this great club gets back to where it belongs as quickly as possible: in the second division.”
