The comedian and bestselling author Kurt Krömer (“You must not believe everything you think: my depression”) has been quite disappointed with Olaf Scholz as Chancellor so far.
“Scholz is a snorer,” said Krömer in the “top talk” of “Spiegel”. “I wish he would say, ‘I don’t know what’s going on either.’
And: “He always comes across as incredibly arrogant, where I think to myself: Do you think we’re all stupid?”

When asked if he thought CDU leader Friedrich Merz was better, Krömer said: “If Merz were Chancellor now, I would think that was bad too. If I could decide between Scholz, Merz or Habeck, I would say: Habeck.”
The Federal Minister of Economics is the best person to explain, says Krömer from Berlin. “I have the feeling that he’s making an honest announcement.”
