National football coach Stefan Kuntz expects his team to show determination at Turkey’s start in the European Championship qualifiers.
During the guest performance in Armenia on Saturday (6:00 p.m. / DAZN) it should be “clearly expressed on the pitch”: “I’m walking a path with eight steps, tomorrow is the first step and I’ll only stop when I qualified for Germany,” said the 60-year-old at a press conference on Friday.

Turkey had qualified for the last two European Championship finals in 2016 and 2021, on the way to Qatar the team failed in the World Cup play-offs against Portugal. Kuntz has been national coach in Turkey since 2021.
