With Mona Tschirdewahn, the management of the legwear specialist Kunert Fashion GmbH has a new member.
Tschirdewahn will take care of the unification of brand, product and sales in the role of Managing Director, Kunert announced last Thursday. She will use her many years of retail experience in the fashion industry and her expertise in international wholesale and e-commerce, which she gained with brands such as Esprit, Fabienne Chapot and most recently as Sales Director at Rich & Royal, to develop a clear end consumer strategy to pursue.
“We not only want to appeal to our end consumers, but also reach them sustainably,” said Tschirdewahn. “Our brands Kunert and Hudson are clearly being sharpened in the market with our wholesale partners. The point of sale decides the purchase, and our love for the product is essential.”
Meanwhile, managing director Peter Gumbel will continue to be responsible for finance, purchasing and logistics. The product managers Simone Drobig and Luisa Schwarzbach are responsible for the Kunert and Hudson brands, which belong to the company. Rekaya Khamassi will be appointed to the key position of Key Account Management.
