On Friday, ten months after the terrible event, the verdict against amok driver Gor H. (30) was pronounced in the Berlin district court. He is permanently placed in a psychiatric facility.

► The indictment was based on murder and 16 attempted murders. Prosecutors and co-plaintiffs had applied for the driver’s permanent placement in a psychiatric hospital.

Before the evidence was closed, the psychiatric expert declared him innocent! The accused suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and has been receiving close clinical care for many years. The first signs were there as early as 2013. “He heard voices. Was aggressive towards mom and sister.”
