KSC loan Lukas Fröde hopes to stay at Hansa Rostock

Relegation is imminent

Loan midfielder Lukas Fröde (27) made it clear that he would like to stay at Hansa Rostock, as well as his optimism about the project. The contract with Karlsruher SC is valid for one more season after the current season. However, everything points to an early commitment to the “Kogge”. “The season is going well, I feel very well, I’m also a North German by choice,” summed up Fröde (quoted via “picture“) his current situation and emphasized with regard to a longer stay at Hansa: “I do not think that this is a topic that will be complicated.”

Born in Fulda, he was already active in the north as a teenager. Werder Bremen brought Fröde to the Weser after two years as a youth player from Carl Zeiss Jena. The former junior international also made the leap into professional football with the Green-Whites, before four transfers within five years led him to Rostock via Würzburg, Duisburg and Karlsruhe. His stay there should also be related to staying up in the league, which is almost achieved, although there was a defeat against Düsseldorf (0:3) after four wins in a row.

“We missed the last tick. A bit of freshness too, mentally and physically. We were simply inferior,” said Fröde, explaining the bankruptcy against Fortuna, which initially prevented FC Hansa from exceeding the 40-point mark. The regular, who was suspended in the next game against Regensburg, said: “It’s no shame either. We have worked out a very good position, which we now have to defend and take to the finish line.”

Fröde and then a contract extension from Rhein and an important construction site for the new season would be closed. I’m skeptical about Daedlow if he fulfills the requirements of the second Bundesliga. I think it’s better for him to switch to a third division team.
I would prefer an experienced clearer from the second league as an alternative and competitor to Fröde. …
