Kruse follows up in the wolves Zoff: “I’ll keep playing”

Max Kruse’s personality continues to be a topic of conversation at the Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg. He will probably never play for the wolves again. The star player isn’t thinking about quitting just yet.

At least the 34-year-old made this clear several times in the last few days after his public ejection by head coach Niko Kovac, who had ruled out a Kruse return to the Wolfsburg match day squad under his direction.

On Tuesday, the former national player was still back on the training ground at VfL Wolfsburg. The sacked offensive player seemed relaxed and in a good mood, joked during training breaks with keeper Koen Casteels or national players Luca Waldschmidt and Lukas Nmecha.

On Tuesday afternoon he then added a certain amount of self-mockery to the social networks. In its Instagram story Kruse posted a video clip that obviously shows him visiting a zoo or wildlife enclosure.

You can see a wild boar moving in the direction of Kruse. In addition, the football professional commented: “Hey cousin, come over here!”, followed by grunting noises. A clear allusion to the supposedly poor fitness level of the veteran, which has been repeatedly discussed and criticized in the past.

This is how things could continue for Max Kruse

Kruse wrote about the post: “It’s still too early … I’ll keep playing.” The attacker is apparently not thinking of ending his career, as his current contract with VfL Wolfsburg runs until the summer of 2023 anyway.

In the coming week, talks are to be held about a possible contract release with the Lower Saxony. Then Kruse could apparently continue in Qatar or Saudi Arabia.

The USA was also repeatedly mentioned by the player himself as a possible destination in the late autumn of his active career. Another station in the Bundesliga seems to be becoming more and more unrealistic.
