The war in Ukraine has caused inflation figures to skyrocket. This has prompted entrepreneurial organizations Voka and VBO to call for an index jump. Green MP Kristof Calvo (35) made it clear in the VTM NIEUWS studio that this is not the case. When asked if he will run for election to succeed Meyrem Almaci (46) as party chairman, Calvo declined to comment: “As far as I’m concerned, we can abolish party presidents.”
