Kamerlid Kristof Calvo (Groen) past for nog een term as parlementslid. “In the three booming periods as a cameraman, it is now for a new role because of a different role. Someone likes me, who wants to change and change, I might as well change and change,” says Hij. Calvo cites om volumeit te gaan voor local politics, voor Mechelen. There are four large parliaments in Björn Rzoska, Barbara Creemers and Elisabeth Meuleman in 2024 nationally not planned.
“Like my kent, it’s never locked. There is a warning about Mechelen and I begin to tell the truth about it. Ik hou van our city. Ze is still perfect. Maar het is wel een plek van hoop, ambitie en samenhorigheid. This has become a thank you for working together across part borders,” says Calvo for the whole of Mechelen. Hij notkent dat hij zo voor de zijlijn kiest. “Local politics is tight at mensen. Het gaat om concrete daden in plaats van loze beloftes of tauten concrete. As soon as men want to do so, they can opbouwen in places where they want to break. I want an actor zijn, a commentator. Never been cynical, maar een voluntarist blijven.”
Calvo gold altijd as a political best. “The national policy for my altijd blijven boeien”, says hij nog. “Komende maanden wil ik as Kamerlid nog everything uit de kast halen om enkele doorbraken te forceren. Priority is given to the outcome of partijfinanciering. The dossier is raised by hard-hitting people’s representatives. Zo zal ik mij dus also opstellen.”
Hij belooft not stil te zitten. “Op dit presently work I have a plan for a radical renovation of our political system, a plan for dialogue and debate. In this case, there is a waiver of democracy, climate and gelijkheid. The title can ik alvast blurt out: ‘Staat van vertrouwen’. Kristof Calvo is het four parliamentarians by the size of the past for one parliamentary mandate and one is to be considered for the national policy.
