– Filming has caused a lot of wonder in my unit about what a police officer can describe and produce on social media. The person has an open profile and a lot of followers on social media, a statement to the police ethical channel states.
Below is an example of an update to Komulainen’s social media on Instagram.
In another announcement, an anonymous reporter is concerned that updates to Komulainen’s social media could pose a threat to police safety.
– The videos have shown, among other things, what access control system is used by the police, where the vehicle keys are stored and how they can be accessed, photographed the civilian cars of the investigation, and Komulainen’s activities endanger the safety of other police officers. These facilities have been designated by the police as a “safe area” and may not be described as such.
In addition to the reports made to the police’s ethical channel, a complaint has been made about Komulainen to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, according to Iltalehti.
Iltalehti reached out to Kristiina Komulainen, but she did not want to comment on the announcements or complaint made about her.
