Krista Pärmäkoski skied to a clear victory in the Finnish Cup in Ruka in a 15-kilometer break.
He defeated Kerttu Niskasen in almost a minute. Pärmäkoski himself did not find his skiing so wonderful in Yle’s interview.
“The frost probably made it pretty smooth and heavy,” Pärmäkoski said.
Sister Niskanen also said that skiing was tough, although it was nice to race.
– I tried to keep a steady pace, but Krista went on her own, Niskanen told Yle.
Eveliina Piippo completed the top three. He was a minute and a half away from Pärmäkoski.
Fifth, sidelined Jasmi Joensuu continue to be at the forefront of the overall Cup situation.
Vuokatti with the Ski Team on Saturday to win the ski Vilma Nissinen skipped Sunday’s race.
