KRC Genk pays tribute to Aaron, who died during deathride

Aaron Delannoy passed away on April 26 after falling off a death ride. All day he had been safely escorting children off the death ride, but when the sports monitor himself came off the death ride in the evening, disaster struck. He did not survive the fall.

The Latest News reports that some of Aaron’s friends contacted Racing Genk, after which KRC contacted Aaron’s dad. The club has decided to pay tribute to Aaron during halftime of the match against Antwerp, who will also receive a name tag in the stadium afterwards.
