KPN switches off 3G network after almost twenty years, expects few problems

Telecom provider KPN will start phasing out its mobile 3G network in the Netherlands on Thursday. People who want to use the internet on their phone can use 4G or 5G. The company expects few problems, a spokesperson told NU.nl. “About 1 percent of all KPN’s mobile data traffic still runs via 3G.”
