Kozak Boys can convert again at home, now against ADO The Hague

Kozak Boys did not draw unfavorably for the second round of the TOTO KNVB Cup tournament. The conqueror of Eredivisie club Vitesse can play at home, just like earlier this week. The opponent, in mid-January, is ADO Den Haag, the current number 13 of the Kitchen Champion Division (KKD).

Kaj Ramsteijn, defender of the Werkendam amateur club, was allowed to help with the draw on Saturday evening. He immediately took his club, middle engine in the Jack’s League, out of the box with participants. Then he picked ADO Den Haag out.

‘Beautiful jar’
Ramsteijn had hoped for Feyenoord, for which he played as a youth player in the past. Still, he was satisfied: “That will be a nice pot.” Just like with the meeting with Vitesse, which was decided after penalties, he is counting on a few thousand spectators.

The other amateur club from Brabant that also survived the first round, Blauw Geel ’38, also had a home game. FC Utrecht, which has been disappointing in the Eredivisie so far, is coming to Veghel for this.

Brabant cup derby
The draw also linked NAC Breda and FC Eindhoven. This Brabant KKD cup derby is played in Breda. PSV can wet its chest: the current number 2 in the Eredivisie is visiting Sparta, which has been performing excellently this season.

FC Den Bosch has the toughest task on paper: the number 18 of the KKD has to compete against champion and current Eredivisie leader Ajax. One advantage: the Bosschenaren play on their own field.

The second cup round will be played on January 10, 11 and 12. The competitions in the Eredivisie and the Kitchen Champion Division will be resumed in the weekend before.
