Barker interrupted his European tour to help his wife give birth.
A complication during Kourtney Kardashian’s pregnancy required emergency surgery that ultimately saved the unborn baby’s life. The eldest of the Kardashian family now shares this in a social media post. “I will forever be grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband, who rushed from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock in the surf. And I would like to thank my mother for holding my hand in this situation,” Kourtney appreciates the doctors and their close environment in her post.
Travis Barker was touring Europe with his band Blink-182 when the news reached him. The drummer had to cancel his concerts in Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin to support his wife in Los Angeles.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker married in Italy in April 2022. After several attempts at artificial insemination, the pregnancy finally happened naturally. Both already bring children into the marriage. Travis Barker has become a father twice with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Kardashian, 44, and her ex Scott Disick had three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, during their relationship.
“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I was unprepared for the fear of urgent fetal surgery,” Kourtney Kardashian wrote in her Instagram post. “Thank God. Walking out of the hospital safe and secure with my baby boy was a real blessing.”
