When on February 17, 2008 Kosovo unilaterally declared his Serbian independenceMuch of Europe and the world held its breath. After the terrible years of the wars that devastated the Balkans in the 90s and after the NATO bombings in Serbia, the Pristina government decided not to wait any longer and took a risky decision. Calm and stability have not yet arrived. That was 15 years ago now and the region as a whole, and Kosovo in particular, still continue to live cycles of stress regularly plagued with uncertainties.
