The building from the 1960s on the Plein is hardly noticeable, but is in a prime location just next to the historic heart of Kortrijk. There are now about seventy entities, half occupied by Ukrainian families. SW Plus now wants to tackle the threadbare building. Véronique Decaluwé, chairman of SW Plus: “There are 70 one-room homes, and we are now going to increase that to 43 residential entities, but this also includes two- and three-bedroom apartments. So they will be more spacious entities, with attention to quality, and the basis for good living .”
