She can still laugh, but korfball player Lisanne de Bruin is anything but happy. On Saturday evening, the Groen Geel player was seriously injured among the substitutes on the bench during the derby against Koog Zaandijk. And if that wasn’t bad enough, KZ wiped out the neighbors 25-13.
De Bruin (26) should actually not have been in Wormer at all. At the start of the season she indicated that she would go abroad for a longer period of time during the competition for her work at Ahold.
Last week she played her last game. That turned out differently than expected: De Bruin tore her cruciate ligaments and had to go to the MRI center for examination instead of abroad. In the video above she explains what this means to her.
