Konyaspor, one of the Spor Toto Süper Lig teams, strengthened its defense line by transferring Francisco Calvo. At the signing ceremony, which was closed to the press, at the Konya Metropolitan Stadium, Calvo signed the contract binding itself to green-white colors for 2+1 years.
Calvo, who grew up in the Herediano infrastructure of Costa Rican teams, most recently wore the San Jose jersey of the USA Major League teams. In the 2021-2022 season, Calvo took part in 17 games with the Chicago Fire team and 13 games with the San Jose team in the USA Major League and scored 3 goals.
